PBnJTYG Senior High Youth Group

People of B’nai Jehudah Temple Youth (PBnJTYG) is comprised of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders. Along with vibrant local programming, as a part of the North American Federation of Temple Youth – Missouri Valley, (NFTY – MV), our youth group brings together Reform Jewish Teens from Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Kansas, Wyoming and Colorado. Teens come together at many times during the year for learning, fun, worship, community services and fellowship to help young Jewish adults throughout the region building and strengthen lifetime ties with each other and Reform Judaism. Our local programs celebrate the fun of community, develop Jewish minds and nurture leadership skills.

PBnJTYG is B’nai Jehudah’s high school youth group catering to 9th-12 graders and they have an INCREDIBLE year coming up! Make sure your teen doesn’t miss out on anything. PBnJTYG is run by a board of B’nai Jehudah teens who were elected to office last spring. Please see below for a list of upcoming events and follow us on Twitter: @PBnJTYG

PBnJTYG will be hosting a kick-off event toward the end of August or the beginning of September. Check your emails for more details!

Dor Chadash Junior Youth JYG

Dor Chadash or New Generation is B’nai Jehudah’s Junior Youth Group and is designed for our congregation’s 7th and 8th graders. JYG offers exciting programming such as progressive dinners, teambuilding activities, amusement park adventures, etc as a way to meet other Jewish teens with similar interests. The Junior Youth Group also shares exciting programs with 7th and 8th graders from Congregation Beth Torah.

Dor Chadash introduces Jewish youth group life to 7th and 8th graders and prepares them for exciting and eventful opportunities in high school as active members of PBnJ our congregation’s Senior Youth Group for grades 9-12. JYG is great way to spend time with old friends and foster new ones while reinforcing the values we all want for our kids!
