Help Others during the Holidays

This year B’nai Jehudah is spreading the holiday light in partnership with Jewish Family Services and University Academy. Please consider helping us spread the light by signing up for one of these opportunities! Questions? Email Lori Barnett.

JFS Hanukkah Project
For individuals/single families: Each client on the JFS Hanukkah wish list over the age of 18 will receive a $25 gift card this year. Gift cards allow individuals and families to choose correct sizes and styles, shop for groceries, or surprise a family member. Please consider donating either a $25 Target or Walmart Gift Card.

Please deliver your $25 Target or Walmart Gift Card(s) to B’nai Jehudah by Thursday, December 1.

Thanks for answering the call … all 12 families are now adopted – thank you!

Adopt a University Academy Family

Last year, the Temple adopted ten University Academy families and we hope to exceed that number this year! We are asking groups (havurot, multi-generational families, friends) to adopt an entire family unit. Each adopted family unit consists of 2-4 children and 1-2 adults and each adopted household member will receive at least one gift (minimum value of $25). In addition, we request that your group purchase at least one item from their household needs list.

You will receive your adopted family’s profile and holiday wish list by email on Monday, November 14. All gifts need to be wrapped and delivered to B’nai Jehudah no later than Thursday, December 8.
